Description
A warm, soothing ginger turmeric weight loss tonic made with fresh roots, lemon, and natural ingredients. This detox-style drink supports digestion, reduces bloating, and may help boost metabolism naturally.
Ingredients
2 cups water
1–2 inches fresh ginger (sliced or grated)
1 inch fresh turmeric root (or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder)
1/2 lemon (juiced)
1–2 tsp honey (optional)
Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
1. Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
2. Add sliced ginger and turmeric.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and let it cool slightly.
5. Strain into a cup.
6. Add lemon juice and honey.
7. Stir well and serve warm.
Notes
Best consumed in the morning or before meals.
Black pepper helps improve turmeric absorption.
You can store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
For stronger flavor, increase ginger slightly.
