Description
Soft Strawberry Pop Tart Sugar Cookies filled with jam and topped with sweet icing.
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Add egg and vanilla
3. Mix dry ingredients and combine
4. Chill dough 30 minutes
5. Roll and cut rectangles
6. Add jam filling
7. Seal with top layer
8. Bake 10-12 minutes at 175C
9. Cool and add icing

Do not overfill
Seal edges well
Chill dough for best results
