Description
Easy Samoas Cookie Bars with caramel, coconut, and chocolate layers.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 jar caramel sauce
1 package sweetened coconut flakes
1 ½ packages chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and prepare baking pan
2. Mix dry ingredients
3. Cream butter and sugars, add egg yolk and vanilla
4. Combine with dry ingredients
5. Press dough into pan and bake
6. Spread melted chocolate over crust
7. Mix coconut with caramel and spread
8. Bake again
9. Cool and drizzle chocolate
10. Chill and slice

Store in fridge up to 3 days
