These Date Brownie Balls are a healthy, no-bake dessert made with natural ingredients like dates, cocoa, and nuts. They are rich, chocolatey, and perfect for a quick snack or guilt-free treat.
Ingredients
2 cups soft pitted dates
1/2 cup nuts (almonds or walnuts)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
2 tbsp shredded coconut (for coating)
Instructions
1. Place the pitted dates in a food processor and blend until smooth and sticky.
2. Add the nuts and cocoa powder, then blend again until combined.
3. Add coconut oil and vanilla extract, and blend until a dough forms.
4. Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls using your hands.
5. Roll the balls in shredded coconut or cocoa powder for coating.
6. Place in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes until firm, then serve.
Notes
You can replace nuts with oats or seeds for a nut-free version.
Use carob powder instead of cocoa for a caffeine-free option.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Freeze for longer storage up to 2 months.
